Ameritrust Mortgage Bankers, Inc. (Ameritrust) was founded in 1987 as a licensed Mortgage Bank with the New York State Banking Department. Ameritrust is also currently licensed to serve borrowers in New Jersey and Florida.

Since its inception, David Bahkshi has served as the President of Ameritrust Mortgage Bankers, Inc. bringing to it his 20 plus years of experience in the mortgage industry. Under Mr. Bahkshi's guidance, Ameritrust has maintained an impeccable record of compliance and customer satisfaction. He is committed to remaining focused on the principle that Ameritrust offers its borrowers a higher level of service than its competitors, complimented by competitive interest rates and mortgage programs.

In late 2006, Thomas Calabro joined Ameritrust. In 2007 he became a Principle and assumed the title of President and David Bahkshi now holds CEO and Secretary as titles. Mr. Calabro brings over 20 years of Mortgage Banking experience particularly in the secondary market arena.

Ameritrust specializes in FHA, VA, Conventional and Reverse mortgage programs. Ameritrust is directly endorsed by FHA and as earned Delegated Underwriting privileges with various investors and is able to close loan that meet those guidelines with in house FHA-Delegated trained underwriters.
